The action strategy “local economy” holds a central position within the joint initiative Social City. In this context different fields of action at the interface of local business development and urban development are brought together in an integrated action plan that coordinates business oriented neighbourhood marketing initiatives within the neighbourhood:

  • High street management Frankfurter Allee/Berlin-Friedrichshain

The local implementation is complemented by conceptual research: 

  • Research and analysis of the potentials of a high street network in Lichtenberg/Berlin-Lichtenberg
  • Local economy in Berlin neighbourhood management areas within the framework of the Social City, update and new approaches
